PAI Named American Eurocopter Repair Center

Atlanta-based Precision Aviation Group (PAG) and its subsidiary Precision Accessories & Instruments (PAI) have been approved as an authorized repair center (ARC) for Eurocopter.

Under the terms of the agreement PAI is authorized to provide MRO services on a selection of rotable components to any affiliated Eurocopter group member. Ketan Desai, PAG’s vice president of sales and marketing, told AIN the five-year agreement calls for PAI to provide rotable components such as accessories, avionics, hydraulics, instruments and starter generators in support of the AS350/355, EC135, EC145 and BK117.

“This agreement reiterates our commitment to enhancing our capabilities and providing our worldwide customer base advanced levels of service. We made a strategic decision several years ago to expand our OEM partnerships, and being named an ARC for the Eurocopter Group is a direct result of this focused effort,” Desai said.

The support agreement allows PAI to offer services to Eurocopter’s extensive distribution network of approximately 20 subsidiaries and affiliates worldwide.
