Embraer Designates Australian ASC

Embraer has appointed John Holland Aviation Services (JHAS) as an authorized service center to provide line and heavy maintenance services for E-Jets from its base in Melbourne.

“JHAS is the first official maintenance service provider in Australia appointed by Embraer Commercial Aviation business to provide maintenance services for our E-Jets line in Australia,” Alex Glock, Embraer Commercial Aviation vice president for Asia Pacific, told AIN.

“Embraer has a long-standing relationship with JHAS, as it already provides a number of MRO services to our customers in the country. This agreement reinforces our relationship, and I am certain it will allow us to up the ante in our customer support offerings to our operators down under,” Glock said.

According to Embraer, JHAS is Australia’s largest independent MRO organization and the only one with comprehensive EASA coverage. Focusing largely on the Asia Pacific region, JHAS provides engineering support to both domestic and international airlines as well as other operators. It can also service a wide range of both passenger and military aircraft. JHAS provides services at most major international airports throughout Australia.
