Boeing Set to Increase 737 Production
Boeing 737 production is set rise by the 8-10% mark and about 400 deliveries could be made this year. Whilst this would erode the backlog from 2012 onwards significantly, the pressure over whether a re-engined 737 is launched could determine whether the company expedites a course to exhaust current orders, or indeed, revise rates so that an improved 737 means less order churn.
