Air Services Adds Composite Facility

Air Services, a division of Constant Aviation specializing in commercial aircraft maintenance and headquartered at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport, opened a satellite accessory and composite facility in Columbus, Ohio. Stephen Maiden, Air Services president, said the satellite facility is dedicated to a single customer, which he declined to identify.

“We were approached by a customer we had been serving in our Cleveland location about the possibility of expanding our services to their home base in Columbus. Currently we have hired an additional 12 team members to support the satellite facility. This strategic partnership allows us the opportunity to bring our capabilities to the Columbus area. As an organization, we will continue to look at other satellite opportunities as we move forward,” Maiden told AIN.

“Our expansion across the country has been an ongoing scouting effort. We are constantly looking at options to better serve our customers. Our target areas for satellite facilities would be the West Coast and the Central states. Expanding our service network is also a focus of ours, which will bring on another MRO facility for Constant.”
