Where do I upload my CV/resume?

Answer: 

From the Home page you click on the MY ACCOUNT tab. Scroll down until you find 'Pilot/Cabin Crew Profile' and click on where it says EDIT. This will take you to your Profile Page, scroll down to the bottom of the page and you will see Upload a CV. Click on this and then select a file to upload.

If you don't have a profile page, you will need to create one before you can upload your CV. Your profile page is a searchable document that employer will use to find you so make sure you put all your type ratings and qualifications.

Applications

How do I apply for a job listed on the site?

You will need to subscribe to see the full job listing and be able to apply. If you are a member, click on the job you want to apply for and then follow the instructions. It is very easy and your application goes direct to the employer immediately.

Do I have to register to post a job?

Yes you do but, it is free and it will only take a minute or two. You will need to remember that the email address you list when you register will be the address that all applications will be sent to.

Where do I upload my CV/resume?

How do I edit a current application?

If you go to the "My Account" tab you will see a list of jobs you have applied for. Another way to get to the application is to go to the "My Home" tab and then click on the "My Applications" under the Quick Links in the right hand sidebar.

Once you see the application click on the Application title and then "edit" - you should then be able edit/delete the appliation.

I would recommend referencing your profile when applying for jobs as this also takes your currently uploaded CV and attaches it to the application with your profile.

Cancellation

How do I cancel my membership?

Subscriptions are managed entirely by you in your paypal account. This is to allow you to drop in and out of subscribing to the account as you need without the need to contact us.

If you would like to cancel you subscription please log on to your Paypal account and cancel your recurring subscription. Once you have logged into paypal find the original subscription and click on "details". At the top there will be a link to cancel (details may vary depending on country).

Jobs

Where do the jobs come from?

Most of the jobs are posted by employers who use the website. However, we strive to keep our members informed of as many active jobs as possible. We spend hours speaking to as many employers as we can and we strive to get the job listed on flightcrewfinder.com as soon as possible.

Payments

How secure is my payment?

At Flight Crew Finder we take your security very seriously. Payment processing is securely handled off site by Paypal. No credit card information is not stored on our servers. Paypal gives you the security and peace of mind with its Secure Sockets Layer 3.0 (SSL) and Identity Theft Protection built in.

Profiles

Who will see my details?

Only registered employers will be able to see your profile. If you want to withhold your name and other personal information from the profile you can by clicking on the privacy icon when you edit your profile.

Can I hide my profile from my employer?

Yes! When you edit your profile you see 'eye' icons near the top of your profile page. Just click on the 'eye' and you personal details will be restricted.

Recruiting Crew

How do I search for flight crew?

Click on the Employer Zone tab and you will find our powerful search engine.

How do I contact the flight crew listed on your site?

When you find a flight crew member you wish to contact just click on the 'Email Me' icon at the top of their profile page. This will open a new window and you can send your message direct to their email address.

Can you help me select flight crew for my company?

Yes! All you need to do is register as an employer and then log in. Click on the My Home tab on the top right of the page. On the My Home page you will have icons that will allow you to create a profile page and list a job.

How do I post a job listing?

First of all you must register as an employer on the Flight Crew Finder website. This is really easy and takes about a minute. Then log on using your employer details and then click on the My Home tab at the top right side of the page. You will be taken to a new page and find the icon for listing a job.

It will take you a couple of minutes to make a simple job listing.

Subscriptions

What does my Flight Crew membership include?

As a subscriber you will have access to the jobs listed on the website and you will be able to apply directly to the employers. You can research using the employer profile pages and even learn a little about the aircraft you maybe flying. You will be able to list your employment profile and produce a CV. Your employment profile is searchable by employers who are looking for flight crew and they will contact you directly via email. We have forums, newsletters, articles and blogs to help you keep up to date with what is happening in our industry. This is just the start.....we are planning new features to be added in the future.

How do I post my details?

To post you details you will need to subscribe. The signing up process is quick, easy and secure. Go to the home page and follow the links to the subscription page. Once you have subscribed click on the My Home tab, this is at the top right side of the page. You will be taken to another page and find the appropriate icon to post your profile.

How do I register and what does it cost?

It is easy, quick and secure to register with us. First you will need to sign up to the site by going to http://www.flightcrewfinder.com/user/register

Once you have signed in navigate to
http://www.flightcrewfinder.com/subscription and take out a subscription option.

Flight Crew Finder subscribers have full access to the additional features such as applying for jobs, listing resumes and employer searches for €6 a month or annual membership is just €60.

Website Difficulties

How does the site work?

We have a database of pilots and cabin crew who have posted their employment details on our website; this database is searchable by registered employers. Employers can post a company profile page on the website and list as many jobs as they like. Registered Flight Crew Finder subscribers can apply direct to the employers who have listed the job.

I have lost my password.

Go to the home page and click on 'Request New Password'. This is can be found at the top right of the page.
